When I finished the manuscript of Daughter of Saltwake, I thought the hard part was over. Instead, I discovered an entirely different kind of creative work waiting for me.
I assumed formatting, ISBNs, metadata, uploads, and all the other publishing details would feel like chores. Instead, each completed step made the book feel a little more real.
Creating Into the Quiet
Writing started as something I did for myself—a place to think, create, and escape. Somewhere along the way, I realized these were stories I wanted to share.
